This house is a rare survivor exemplifying the fully developed adobe frame ranch house in its final courtyard form. It embodies all the significant characteristics, showing the development of this form from the Mexican frontier period. Surrounded with gracious deep verandahs this home is one of the original adobe haciendas in the state of California.
